Luke 9:62.
“Jesus demands that a person’s primary focus is on Him. He made it very clear that if we aren’t sold out, we can’t be a disciple. It is all or none.”
James says it another way. (James 4:4) know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. If we are not focused on what is before us, we will plow crooked rows.
